The Naval Air Facility El Centro Air Show 2010 will take place on Saturday 13 March 2010. General admission and Parking is free.
The objective of this event is to keep the public informed of our military services preparedness, demonstrate modern weapons systems, enhance community relations, and promote recruiting.
The Air Show features the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. NAF El Centro is the winter training home for the Blue Angels and their performance at El Centro occurs at the end of their training and the beginning of their show season.
In addition to the Blue Angels their will be several other military flight demonstrations and civilian performances.
In addition to the aerial performances, a wide variety of field exhibits and hands-on displays will be available for the education and entertainment of passers-by. Included among these are vintage as well as state-of-the air military static aircraft, historical displays and exhibits presented by military and aviation enthusiasts.
