<p>U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Yuma sector seized  more than $250,000 in marijuana and arrested a suspected drug smuggler  at the checkpoint on Highway 78 near Palo Verde on Thursday.</p>
<p>At about 5:30 p.m., Border Patrol agents  assigned to the Blythe station encountered a white semi-tractor trailer  at the checkpoint. A Border Patrol canine team alerted to the semi,  indicating the likely presence of concealed illicit contraband.</p>
<p>Agents referred the tractor trailer for secondary  inspection where they uncovered 112 plastic-wrapped bundles of marijuana  hidden beneath the sleeper bed in the cab of the truck. The driver, a  54-year-old U.S. citizen, was arrested.</p>
<p>The  packages of marijuana weighed a combined 322 pounds with an estimated  street value of $257,600.</p>
<p>The driver,  semi and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement  Administration.</p>

<p>IT&#8217;S MONDAY:</p>
<p>It was reported that the neighbors are listening to music from their vehicle, the only problem is that the music is really loud,  they had been advised before by a police officer, they eventually complied to turn it down.</p>
<p>CAUSING A SCENE:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller’s 15 year old daughter is causing a scene and making a lot of noise in the locale,  after having n argument with the caller, the teenager seems to be out of control, an officer was able to calm her down.</p>

<p>May 18</p>
<p>MOVE IT ALONG:</p>
<p>It was reported that a male subject keeps knocking at the caller’s door,  though refusing to leave the man goes around the home and knocks on the windows as well, the man was asked to leave and never come back.</p>
<p>TAKING ACTION QUICKLY:</p>
<p>It was reported that a subject at the location tried to open the caller’s door to her home, the subject fled the scene when he saw the caller dialing for the police, the caller did identify him  as being an ex friend, she will press a restraining order against him.</p>
<p>LOVE THY NEIGHBOR:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller’s neighbor’s are having a huge argument, the caller stated that there are two women and one male subject fighting and causing a noise disturbance, the subjects were contacted and asked to tone it down, they complied.</p>
<p>Wednesday,</p>
<p>May 19</p>
<p>KEEPING IT CIVIL:</p>
<p>It was reported that a brother and sister couple were having a big argument which was disrupting the peace in the neighborhood, the couple was counseled, both complied to get along, the caller was advised to call back should they start up again.</p>
<p>LET IT SHINE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a male in loose clothing was seen taking off the screen to one of the windows of the residence, the caller did scare him away by turning on the light, the caller is worried that he is still in the complex, close patrol was kept in the area.</p>
<p>ON YOUR WAY NOW:</p>
<p>It was reported, that a subject is outside the residence, he is trying to start a fight with the caller, the subject instead met up with an officer who sent him on his way, the officer advised the subject to not return, the subject complied, the caller was advised to call back should he return.</p>
<h1>City of El Centro</h1>
<p>Friday,</p>
<p>May 14</p>
<p>VANDALISM:</p>
<p>It was reported that three teenagers were seen throwing a rock at a parked vehicle&#8217;s windshield, which completely shattered, the subjects left soon after and were not rounded up, and a report was taken for the vandalized vehicle.</p>
<p>PARTY SHUT DOWN:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller cannot rest due to a party going on next door, after receiving several complaints the party was eventually shut down, the subjects complied to taking the party inside the residence with no music.</p>
<p>HEY, YOU&#8217;RE BACK:</p>
<p>It was reported that while out of town, someone had broken into the caller&#8217;s home and ran off with a few clothing pieces and a few jewelry pieces, the caller then added that a flat screen monitor was also taken from the residence, a report was taken, the caller was advised to call back should they return.</p>

<p>May 15</p>
<p>CUTTING RUBBER:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s vehicle was vandalized sometime last night, the caller stated that the passenger side tires were slashed open with a very sharp blade, a report was taken, the caller was advised on his options.</p>
<p>HARASSING THE LOT:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s ex-boyfriend is calling her and her friends, the male subject is shouting and yelling obscenities at them, the caller was advised on how to deal with the subject.</p>

<p>SUSPICIOUS MAN:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller has spotted a small vehicle which it&#8217;s parked at the alley, the caller also noticed that the man whom owns the vehicle was knocking on the windows before heading to the front of the home, the subject was not spotted in the area.</p>
<p>REFUSE TO LEAVE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a subject is at her home, he is being very abusive to her and refuses to leave when asked, an officer made contact with the subject and sent him on his way, he was asked to not return.</p>
<p>Monday,</p>
<p>May 17</p>
<p>HE&#8217;S BACK:</p>
<p>It was reported that a panhandler is back asking customers for money and loitering in the area, though he refused to leave when he was asked by the manager he did leave before an officer arrived.</p>
<p>COMPLIED:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s next-door neighbors are playing their music very loudly, after a few demands from the caller they finally complied when an officer asked them to keep it down or shit it down, the neighbors will be keeping it quiet.</p>
<p>HEARING THINGS</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller believes there is someone in her backyard, though she didn&#8217;t get a clear look, she did hear trampling in the area, an officer was sent to investigate but found no one in the area, the caller was asked to call back should she return.</p>

<p>May 18</p>
<p>BROKEN WINDOWS:</p>
<p>It was reported that a couple of windows were broken sometime last night on the locale, the caller stated that the windows were shattered late last night by a rock or brick, the estimate value was set to be $600 dollars, a full report was taken of the incident, the caller was advised of their options.</p>
<p>SUMMER&#8217;S COMING, THEY&#8217;LL ALL BE INSIDE:</p>
<p>It was reported that five kids were throwing rocks at the caller&#8217;s home&#8217;s windows, the young kids were caught in the act and counseled, luckily no damage were made to the windows, or any part of the home, the kids</p>

<p>May 14</p>
<p>CAGED:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller has caged in a stray dog in his own back yard, the caller stated that the k-9 did not have a collar, nor did it seem that he was around form the area, animal control was advised, the dog was taken to the local city pound.</p>
<p>BROKEN INTO:</p>
<p>It was reported that a parked vehicle was broken into in the alley; the caller stated that he saw the subjects then leave in a Ford Bronco southbound, the owner of the vehicle was contacted, the situation was handled.</p>
<p>COUPLE TROUBLES:</p>
<p>It was reported that a male and female couple were having an intense argument on their front porch, when an officer arrived, the male half had already left in a non-described vehicle, and the female half was counseled and advised.</p>

<p>OUT OF TOWN:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller is hearing noises coming from the neighbors place, the only problem is that the neighbors aren&#8217;t home, the area was checked, no one appeared to have breached the house, the caller was advised of his options.</p>
<p>STORAGE ROOM BUST:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s storage room was broken into, it was unknown as to how the thieves broke into the shed, the caller stated that he was only missing an old huffy bike, the caller was advised of his options.</p>
<p>LOUD MUSIC AND DRINKING:</p>
<p>It was reported that a large group of teenagers are playing loud music while they drink their beers around the residence, the teenagers refuse to turn the music down, but complied when asked to by an officer.</p>

<p>TUSSLE:</p>
<p>It was reported that two male subjects had gotten into a physical fight, both subjects were separated by their friends, the subjects had left the area before an officer could arrive, the caller was advised of to call back should he return.</p>
<p>MOM AND DAUGHTER:</p>
<p>It was reported that a mom and daughter pair are having a large verbal fight, the caller stated that they have been at it for awhile, both the mother and daughter were contacted and counseled.</p>
<p>LOCK THE GATES:</p>
<p>It was reported that a few items were taken from the caller&#8217;s backyard, though the caller didn&#8217;t know exactly what was taken, things are definitely missing, signs of entry were evident, a report was taken of the incident.</p>

<p>May 17</p>
<p>RESTRAINING ORDER:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s ex-boyfriend is at her home and she does not want him there, she then explained that she was at the neighbors, and is afraid of being hit, the situation handled. she was advised to get a restraining order against her ex.</p>
<p>CALM DOWN BROTHER:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s brother has apparently lost it and is now become irate; the caller states that his brother is throwing things around the residence, the situation was handled, and it turned out to be a civil problem between brothers.</p>
<p>TEENAGE BEER RUN:</p>
<p>It was reported that 2 male subjects in their late teens have ran off with 2 30 packs of Budweiser beer, the 2 subjects made it out onto a waiting vehicle from which they fled, the teens were not found.</p>

<p>May 18</p>
<p>NEIGHBORS IN DISPUTE:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller is having yet another dispute with his neighbor, the caller admitted that this happens a lot, the caller and the neighbor were counseled and advised of their options.</p>
<p>GIRL DISPUTE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a sister pair were having a loud  argument in the area, the caller believes that it has to do over a stolen item and they are now blaming each other, both siblings were contacted and counseled, the situation was resolved.</p>
<h1>City of Calexico</h1>
<p>Friday,</p>
<p>May 14</p>
<p>WINDOW TO WINDOW:</p>
<p>It was reported that two suspicious males are walking thru the area, going onto properties and looking thru front windows, as if looking for something or someone, the caller is disgusted that they carry with such leisure, the subjects were not found on the area, the caller was advised to call back should they return.</p>
<p>FRIENDS:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller has witnessed another fight between her friend and her ex-boyfriend, the caller stated that they are both very loud and she is afraid that they might fight, before the ex-boyfriend left, he did break a window to the residence, the caller was advised of her options.</p>
<p>HAVING A LOOK-SEE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a subject was riding around the parking lot on his bike, the subject was also carrying a flashlight and an empty backpack, the caller thought he was up to no good, he was out of the area when a police officer arrived.</p>

<p>TAKING SUPPLIES</p>
<p>It was reported that two subjects trespassed into her yard and stole a few 2&#215;4s, the two subjects whom appeared to be teenagers leave the area as soon as the caller came out, a report was taken, it was unknown who the two subjects were.</p>
<p>SEND ON HER WAY:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s ex-daughter in law is at her home, banging on the front doors and windows, the subject was looking for her husband, she was sent on her way and asked to not return.</p>

<p>SOMETHING OR ANOTHER:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller has had a run in with a another female subject, though the caller is not saying much or stating what happened, she was advised of her options and warned to stay out of trouble, the woman complied.</p>
<p>LOUD MUSIC:</p>
<p>It was reported that there is a very loud party going on next door, the caller among others in the neighborhood, though they have been asked to turn it down, the host refused to, an officer made contact with the host and advised him to keep it down, the host complied, the caller was advised to call back should they return.</p>
<p>DAMAGED REAR WINDOW:</p>
<p>It was reported that an unknown subject had broken the rear window to the caller&#8217;s vehicle, the caller stated that the damages were estimated to be $350 dollars, a full report was written, the caller was advised on how to handle the situation.</p>

<p>May 17</p>
<p>UNLOCKED DOOR, WELCOMING SIGN:</p>
<p>It was reported that a few teenagers are inside an un-inhabited home, the caller stated that no one is supposed to be there, when an officer arrived the kids were gone and it was found that the door wasn&#8217;t locked, it was open, the situation was handled.</p>

<p>May 18</p>
<p>TRIGGER:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s friend who is prone to violence is at her home, he is worried that he will harm her daughter if he becomes upset with the father of the child, the friend did leave before her boyfriend got home.</p>
<p>SINGING AND DIGGING:</p>
<p>It was reported that there is a male subject out in the back alley, making a lot of noises, the caller stated that the 45 year old homeless man was screaming and yelling as he dug thru the trash, the man had been warned before, but he keeps coming back, the subject was contacted and advised to not return.</p>

<p>JUMPING TEENS:</p>
<p>It was reported that a teenager was jumping on the hood of a vehicle, it is unknown if he owns this vehicle or not, an officer did go to the locale, but was unable to make contact with the young man, the caller was advised to call back should he turn up again.</p>
<p>IT CAME, FROM THE ALLEY:</p>
<p>It was reported  that there is a lot of loud music coming from the alley, the caller also stated that he heard screaming, its unsure if it was playful screaming or a call for authentic help, the subjects were contacted and counseled, they agreed to keep the decimal level down.</p>
<p>STOLEN WHEELS:</p>
<p>It was reported that an unknown subject has come on to the caller’s property  and stole 4 brand new tires, the Goodrich tires were estimated to be worth up to $600.00 dollars, a report was taken, the caller was advised of his options.</p>
<p>BANG!:</p>
<p>It was reported that a loud bang was heard from the neighbor’s home, the neighbor isn’t picking up or answering his door, an officer was able to make contact with the neighbor, everything was okay.</p>
<p>Tuesday,</p>
<p>May 4</p>
<p>INTERWEBS:</p>
<p>It was reported that a subject was seen entering the neighbor’s home, when the owners of the home arrived, it was found that the computer, monitor and dsl router were stolen, a report was taken.</p>
<p>BUSTED:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller had apparently caught his teenage son trying to leave his home in the middle of the night, the young man was contacted and counseled, he was also warned about the curfew that is instated for minors, the young boy complied.</p>
<p>REPRESENT:</p>
<p>It was reported that several subjects in a brown  car, were throwing gang signs and disturbing the peace, what caught the caller’s eye was that he believes he saw a gun on one of the subjects, the group was gone on arrival.</p>
<p>SISTER,SISTER:</p>
<p>It was reported that two females are in the middle of an intense argument, the two subjects were contacted, they happened to be sisters, they were separated though both subjects were uncooperative, they were sent home.</p>

<p>LOUD MUSIC, DRINKING:</p>
<p>It was reported that a large group of teenagers are playing loud music while they drink their beers around the residence, the teenagers refuse to turn the music down, but complied when asked to by an officer.</p>
<p>REAR WINDOW:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller’s vehicle was vandalized sometime last night, upon inspection, it was found that the rear window was shattered with an unknown object, the caller was advised of his options.</p>
<p>WASTE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a large cat was found by the trash bin, it is believed that someone in the neighborhood tried to throw it into the trash, the animal was disposed off properly, the caller was advised of his options.</p>

<p>Friday,</p>
<p>April 30</p>
<p>VIOLATION:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller’s ex-boyfriend is in front of her residence, the caller stated that only problem is that she has a restraining order against him, the situation was handled, and the caller was advised to call back should he try this again.</p>
<p>HEARING THINGS..:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller is hearing noises in the backyard, she is unsure to what it can be, she was asked to remain calm while an officer inspected the area, nothing or no one was found in her back yard</p>
<p>UNDER THE INFLUENCE:</p>
<p>It was reported that a subject is going around the locale threatening whoever gets in his way, including doctors, nurses and civilians, the subject was deemed to be under the influence, though he refused to leave the area, the police were able to escort him off the premises.</p>

<p>COUNSELED:</p>
<p>It was reported that a group of 4 teenagers are making a lot of ruckus in the area, though the group had dispersed one of the subjects was contacted and counseled, the caller was advised to call back should the group go at it once more</p>
<p>VANDALISM:</p>
<p>It was reported that the park has been vandalized, the caller stated that the benches and a wall in the park has been spray painted, the caller did not see who was responsible, or exactly when it happened, the area was surveyed, the situation was handled.</p>
<p>SKATING AROUND:</p>
<p>It was reported that a few kids on skates were bothering customers, skating on rails and jumping in and out of the streets, though they refused to leave when asked, they did leave as soon as an officer asked them too, the kids were asked not to come back.</p>

<p>WHO’S PAYING FOR THAT!:</p>
<p>It was reported that a beer bottle was thrown at the caller’ vehicle’s windshield which shattered, the unknown subject fled the scene and was not caught; the caller was advised of her options.</p>
<p>BARKING AT THE MOON:</p>
<p>It was reported that the dogs in the neighborhood is barking and have been for about 20 minutes, the caller thinks that someone might have broken in somewhere and is causing the dogs to bark, it turned out that a subject was just found sleeping in the area, the man was asked to leave.</p>

<p>May 3</p>
<p>FIGHT TIME:</p>
<p>It was reported that the caller is witnessing a physical brawl between two subjects at the locale, the two subjects weren’t brandishing weapons, nor did anyone get seriously hurt, they both left soon after the fight started, the caller was advised to call should they return.</p>
<p>RUDE CUSTOMERS:</p>

<p>It was reported, that a purple pickup truck was driving recklessly, the driver was cutting off vehicles and cutting corners, the caller stated that he was also cutting it close and that a crash seemed inevitable, the subject was not found.</p>

<p>It was reported that the caller&#8217;s Husband took her vehicle without any permission, the caller stated that her husband does not have a California Driver&#8217;s License, the caller was advised of her options.</p>

<p>It was reported that a male subject was acting strange and loitering on a parking lot of a local gas station. The subject who hasn&#8217;t been seen in Holtville before was acting irate, he was contacted and asked to leave the area.</p>

<p>It was reported from one of the gas stations that a teenager has taken off with a 12 pack of budlight, the subject took off on a black four door vehicle, the subject was described as having a shaved head, and an earring.</p>

<p>It was reported, that the caller&#8217;s shed was vandalized sometime last night. The back wall which faces the alley was spray painted along with a part of his fence, though the writing is incoherent, a report was made.</p>

<p>it was reported that the upstairs neighbors are playing loud music and causing a lot of ruckus. The caller stated that the noise is keeping him up, the neighbors were contacted, they complied to keep it down.</p>

<p>It was reported that a few stray dogs are in the neighborhood, they are not wearing leashes and seem to be interested in knocking down dumpsters. The caller stated that they&#8217;ve been in the area before, but always seem to evade capture, the dogs left the area.</p>
