Rare, or mostly pink but not raw, is ideally around 130°F and is preferred by most gourmets as the taste of the meat has not been cooked out. EL CENTRO, Calif. – July 5, 2010 –  Robert J. Westcott Memorial Lab in El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) has been awarded national accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Established in the early 1960s, the CAP accreditation process involves a full inspection of laboratory records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. Milestone Reached In Imperial County Earthquake Recovery Effort

Officials with the Federal Management Agency ( FEMA ) and the California Emergency Management Agency ( Cal EMA ) have wrapped up initial meetings with 31 Public Assistance Program applicants in Imperial County, to discuss recovery needs associated with the April 4 earthquake. The meetings, called Kickoff Meetings, represent a milestone in the recovery process.
