In addition to the graduations, there are some other milestones that always take place this time of the year as school districts say goodbye to some of their employees. This is the beginning of retirement for many longtime employees. This year in Holtville seven long time employees were honored with a luncheon on Thursday afternoon.
Nearly 200 colleagues, family, and friends attended the ceremony. Guests were treated to a taco cart lunch and attendees were also enjoyed some live entertainment by the Holtville High School Rock Band, led by HHS Principal, Jeff Magin along with several of his colleagues.
