The Women of Virtue Empowerment Network (WOVEN) is planning to bless some Holtville High School girls with free prom dresses at their inaugural “Prom Dress Extravaganza” to be held on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This event will take place at 450 Cedar Avenue (directly behind the new Baja Desert Tire building).
There are approximately 150 dresses available for this event, in various sizes, shapes, and colors. Girls will be able to make selections and try them on for size, until they find the PERFECT dress for the Prom. According to WOVEN Co-Director Betty Predmore, “We are looking forward to blessing these young ladies with these beautiful dresses. Prom is such a special night, and we want each girl to feel special. We are hoping that there are lots of “perfect dress” moments on April 26th.”
Betty, along with Co-Director Stacie Chandler, and board members Sara Hilfiker and Cibia Leonard, will be on hand to assist the young ladies. For more information, contact Betty at (760) 791-4794.
