Turning Point Ministries Set to Host Annual Banquet

Imperial Counties District Attorney Gilbert G. Otero speaks of the importance of Turning Point to the Imperial County at last years banquet.

For the 14th year, Turning Point Ministries will be hosting their annual Banquet and Silent Auction.  This year’s event is scheduled to take place at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse in El Centro on Friday April 27th, with doors open at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:15 p.m.

The theme of this year’s banquet is “He Restores My Soul”.  Turning Point uses this banquet opportunity to showcase the changes in the lives of the men who have gone through the program or are currently a resident of the Men’s Home.  These men, family members, and others have given testimonies over the past 14 years which help others to see how this ministry works to change lives and give these men and their families hope.  Along with heart-touching testimonies, there will be live musical entertainment and a fabulous Silent Auction that is always a crowd favorite.

Tickets can be purchased for $35.00.  Table sponsorships are also available for $300 (Silver level), $500 (Gold level), and $1000 (Platinum level).  All proceeds of this event go to help Turning Point Ministries keep the doors open and the facility operating, enabling men in need of these services to get the help they need to re-direct their lives.  If you would like information about the banquet, or about Turning Point in general, please call (760) 356-4307.
