AT 1017 AM PDT… A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL… AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CHIRIACO SUMMIT… MOVING NORTH AT 25 MPH.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO COTTONWOOD VISITOR CENTER… JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK AND EAGLE MTN.
