— Six Boys and Six Girls to Take the Court for the National Finals in Los Angeles

During 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend —

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2011— The NBA today announced the 12 national finalists from the 2010-11 “NBA FIT/ WNBA FIT Dribble, Dish & Swish presented by Pepperidge Farm® Flavor Blasted® Goldfish® crackers” competition.   The national finalists include the top two participants from each age/gender division who received the best scores in the time-based obstacle course out of more than 40,000 participants, ages 7 to 12.  More than 375 competitions took place in nine cities across the country, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, and Phoenix.

Finalists will head to Los Angeles, Calif. for an unforgettable experience at NBA All-Star, which will include competing in the national finals, being honored at an awards luncheon hosted by NBA Legend Bob Lanier, and in-arena recognition during NBA All-Star Saturday Night.
