The team must complete at least 120 training flights during the 10-week winter training process, which concludes in mid-March.
All media will meet with a Blue Angels representative at the air facility main gate at 12:00 p.m., and the jet pilots will arrive at 12:45 p.m. Fat Albert, the Blue Angels’ C-130, is expected to arrive at approximately 3:20 p.m. with 15 maintenance personnel and equipment. The remainder of the maintenance and support personnel will arrive on a C-9 transport aircraft at an undetermined time. The jet pilots will be available for interviews shortly after landing.
