Mexico’s best soccer players in history will be coming to Calexico this September to help PAL in what promise to be the biggest soccer clinic in the valley.
The Calexico Parents Athletic League will be hosting a two day soccer clinic at Ward Field behind Calexico High School. The Calexico PAL will welcome past Mexican soccer players that were part of the Mexican National Soccer Team and played World Cups. The two day event will take place on September 24 and 25th and will have as great guest such as Ramon Ramirez who is one of the most respected leaders in Mexican soccer and played in the World Cup, “El Emperador” Claudio Suarez who played 178 with the Mexican National soccer team and played on four FIFA World Cup, Alberto Garcia Aspe, among other big legendary players.
The Calexico Parents Athletic League has promoted a lot of soccer events lately. Because of the support of the youth in sports, PAL was able to support Issac Acuna from Calexico to play for Club America, one of the most historic and important teams in Mexico.
