Enough is Enough! The Curmudgeon Speaks! so, where were you during the great ‘quake of 2010? Will that be the question for the next millennium? We doubt it. I a very happy to inform you that the Camarena Memorial Library will resume regular hours tomorrow (Thursday, April 8th). Thanks to the special dedication and hard work of the library staff, we have finished the clean up. We re shelved about 30,000 books in three days. On Thursday, April 8, at 9:45 a.m. PDT, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) will survey the damage in Calexico caused by Sunday’s earthquake and offer support to city and county officials. City and county officials will brief Senator Boxer on recovery efforts during a closed-press tour of damage to downtown Calexico.
