GET A RESTRAINING ORDER:

It was reported that the caller’ s ex-boyfriend is harassing her, the subject follows her around and is making her life a bit difficult, she was advised to obtain a restraining order.

LOUD DOGS:

It was reported that a caller can hear a few males talking loudly while the neighborhood dogs bark, the caller found it suspicious, though they were not there when they arrived, the caller was advised to call back should they return.

U.S. Border Patrol Agents Seize Drugs and Weapons, Arrest Three

Yuma, Ariz. – U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than $1 million of marijuana, two weapons, recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested three people in three separate incidents this week.

CBP Officers Discover Marijuana Concealed in Roof

Douglas, Arizona — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than 60 pounds of marijuana concealed inside the roof top of a vehicle.

Late Monday afternoon, CBP officers were screening traffic when a Chevy Blazer being driven by a 21-year-old man approached the primary inspection site. The officers selected the SUV for a secondary inspection, prompting a search by a K-9 team. The additional search led to the discovery of small packages concealed in the headliner of the vehicle. The total weight of marijuana was more than 60 pounds with an estimated street value of $139,000

Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr. Ongoing Investigation Into Possibly Illegal Practices by Some California Health Insurers

Los Angeles-Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr., who has an ongoing investigation into possibly illegal practices by some California health insurers, today subpoenaed financial records and other documents from California’s seven largest health insurance companies.

“We have been looking at these companies for a number of months and are very concerned that some of them are unjustly raising premiums and denying payment of legitimate claims,” Brown said. “Not only are the rate increases devastating to Californians strapped by the economy, but in some cases, they are possibly illegal.”

A minor earthquake occurred at 7:02:30 AM (PST) on Friday, February 26, 2010.
The magnitude 3.9 event occurred 27 km (17 miles) NNW of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico.
The hypocentral depth is 32 km (20 miles).
