Dear Chiefs, First Responders, Fellow Red Crossers and Friends of the American Red Cross:
Frist, please receive my sincere wishes for a terrific New Year and a heartfelt thank you for all the support you have provided our local Red Cross during the past year. With these greetings also receive the good news and introduction of Elizabeth Enriquez who began her duties as Disaster Response Associate on Monday January 4, 2010 at the Imperial Valley Service Center-San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter.
Elizabeth is a New York native who graduated from SUNY (State University of New York) College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Immediately following her graduation from SUNY Elizabeth took a job with the Arizona Western Region Parks – her last assignment being Kartchner State Park Caverns. Her work with the State Parks has afforded her the opportunity to liaise and work closely with First Responders and their support agencies as well as rally a volunteer base to provide a healthy corps to get the job done as needed.
Elizabeth is fluent in both English and Spanish is well traveled both state-side and abroad. Elizabeth’s love for the outdoors keeps her hobby of camping and back-packing a fulfilled activity. She hasn’t experienced an Imperial Valley summer but is certain that she won’t “sweat” it much on account on her living and working in the Lake Havasu area at one time. Elizabeth also dabbles in photography and it is an interest she shares with her fiancé.
Elizabeth is intent on upholding and delivering the same excellence and support that you were given prior to her arrival. At some point please be sure to reach out to Elizabeth, call, stop by to introduce yourself or if she calls on you first or stops by your station be sure to give her the ‘grand’ tour of your facilities.
If you wish to set up a meeting or arrange a site visit I propose you contact Elizabeth directly. Her contact particulars are as follows:
