THE NEW YEAR BRINGS NEW LAWS SACRAMENTO, Calif. –January not only rings in a new year, but also new laws for 2010. The California Highway Patrol reminds drivers to be familiar with these new traffic laws passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor. Earthquakes Blitz through Imperial Valley By Chris Furguson On December 30, 2009, at around 10:50 AM, at least four earthquakes rocked the Imperial Valley in less than 20 minutes.
